The exam itself

For most people weighing SecurityX, the real fork is against ISC2 CISSP, and the two are not interchangeable. SecurityX is hands-on and technical, has no formal experience gate you must document to be awarded the cert, and renews on a CEU-plus-fee model with no annual charge. CISSP is broader and more managerial, is gated behind five years of verified experience (with an Associate path if you lack them), and bills a $135 annual maintenance fee for as long as you hold it, which is $1,215 over nine years in fees alone.

Choose SecurityX if you want to prove deep technical security engineering ability, you cannot or would rather not clear CISSP’s five-year documentation gate yet, and you value a renewal model with no yearly bill.
