Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have. No boilerplate walls, just what actually happens on this site.
Analytics
CertiGuard uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get read. This analytics tracking is not live on the site yet. Once it is turned on, it will be consent-gated for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland: analytics scripts will not load for those visitors until they give consent through a cookie banner. Visitors elsewhere may be counted by default, in aggregate, without personally identifying information such as your name or email address.
Contact form submissions
The contact form is handled by Netlify, our hosting provider. If you submit a correction, question, or vendor-pricing tip, the name, email address, and message you provide are stored by Netlify and used only to read and respond to what you sent. We do not sell, rent, or share form submissions with third parties, and we do not add your email to any mailing list from a correction or a question.
Affiliate links
Some study-resource and course links on certification pages are affiliate links, currently
through the Impact network for providers such as Udemy. If you click one, the destination and
the affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technology on their own sites to attribute
a purchase to CertiGuard; we may then earn a commission at no extra cost to you. CertiGuard
itself does not set affiliate cookies on this site and does not receive your name, payment
details, or purchase history, only aggregate commission reporting. Every affiliate link is
disclosed on the page where it appears and marked with rel="sponsored", and
affiliate relationships never influence which certification we recommend or how we describe it.
See each provider's own privacy policy for how they handle data on their sites.
Advertising cookies
This site does not currently serve ads or set advertising cookies. When advertising goes live, it will run through Google, and third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site and others. Google explains what its advertising partners collect and how to opt out at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. This page will be updated with more detail before ads go live.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time. If a consent banner is showing on your visit, you can change your choice through that banner. You do not need an account to read anything on this site, and we do not require you to log in.
