Skip it too if your target is a non-AWS shop: a broad vendor-neutral credential like CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA A+ transfers across employers in a way a single-vendor foundational badge does not. The exam itself

You get 65 questions in 90 minutes: 50 count toward your score and 15 are unscored questions AWS is quietly testing for future exams, mixed in without being labeled. Cloud Practitioner does not map cleanly to a single BLS occupation the way a security or architecture certification does, since its whole design point is that the holder is not in a specialist technical role. The closest fit is the broad network and computer systems administration occupation (BLS code 15-1244), the general “keeps AWS-adjacent operations running” category that Cloud Practitioner holders most often sit in or work alongside.
